Born in 1952, Celia Imrie is a popular television and movie actress. Well-known to TV audiences for her collaboration with British comedienne Victoria Wood in Victoria Wood: As Seen on TV and Dinner Ladies, Imrie also appeared in The Nightmare Man, Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit, A Dark Adapted Eye, Tom Jones, Into the Blue, The Canterville Ghost, A Christmas Carol, Hetty Wainthrop Investigates, Gormenghast and Dalzeil and Pascoe. Imrie's film credits include The Wicked Lady, Highlander, Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, In the Bleak Midwinter, The Borrowers, Hilary and Jackie, Star Wars, Episode 1: The Phantom Menace and Bridget Jones' Diary. |
